I’m Laura Faver Dias, and I’m running for State Representative in the 62nd District.
As your state representative, I will be a powerful advocate for everyone in our community. From fighting for better education for children to demanding better resources for older adults, I will stand up for the needs of residents in every corner of the 62nd District. As a mother of premature twins, former public school teacher, and a current Grayslake Village Trustee, my life is focused on service to others.
The 62nd District covers all of Grayslake, Hainesville, Libertyville, Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights, Round Lake, and parts of Green Oaks, Wildwood, and areas of unincorporated Lake County.
I am running for office because I care deeply about our community and the future of our state. No matter what Springfield throws my way, I will always stay committed and accountable to the needs of the residents and families here at home.
As I have my whole life, when life gets hard, I roll up my sleeves and work harder.
